It was the perfect fusion of pumpkin pop culture and financial marketing, offering an opportunity to be relevant, topical, and humorous while venturing into the unlikeliest of categories – banking.

The Challenge

Our goal was to achieve top-of-mind awareness for a product that no local competitor had considered promoting – the Pumpkin Spice Loan. Understanding our user and customer base was key to our strategy. We aimed to pioneer the promotion of a unique, fall-themed financial product that would capture the imagination of our audience.


The Pumpkin Spice Loan campaign has been a smashing success every year since its inception. At that time, and likely even now, there isn’t a credit union or bank with the creative courage to elegantly execute such a campaign. It has become a cherished tradition for our members, and it continues to set us apart in the financial industry.
